Medical Nutrition Therapy

ECMC provides Medical Nutrition Therapy for out-patients with our Dietitian Nutritionist: Sheri Jonsson, MS, RDN, LD, CDE. Small changes to our eating habits can lead to big improvements in health. You can schedule an appointment with the Dietitian by calling Sheri at 785-472-3111 ext.372.

Diabetes Self-Management Classes

ECMC provides group classes to all of those with diabetes and anyone who wants to learn more about diabetes. These classes are offered twice a year. The instructors are: Pat Allen RN, MSN; Angela Broaderway, PharmD; Sheri Jonsson, MS, RDN, LD, CDE; and Physical Therapy staff. Professional Education Opportunities

ECMC is frequently the host site for live classes on Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Trauma Nursing Core Course, HazMat Response for Healthcare Providers as well as ITV classes. Community Educational Opportunities

The Ellsworth EMS offers First Aid For Care Givers Classes available to the general public. Please call 785-472-3454 for information on the next available class. Additional educational offerings on Medicare, Diabetes, Cardiac Care, etc. are often available at ECMC.
