Sponsored by the Ellsworth Area Art Gallery & Ellsworth County Medical Center. Not "JUST" an art contest, this is an opportunity for our youth to explore a career in advertising.

Contest Begins

February 1, 2013 - Entry Deadline: February 21, 2013
Contest Judging will be held at the Ellsworth Area Art Gallery on February 25, 2013 and winners will be announced at 6:30 p.m.

Task of the Artist:

1. To educate the community about the adverse effects of smoking which leads to heart disease.
2. To develop original advertisement/artwork that focuses on the contest theme.

How Your Entry Will Be Judged

Entries will be judged on their ability to clearly and creatively communicate the contest theme. Exhibit must demonstrate an understanding of the importance of preventing tobacco use and how smoking leads to HEART DISEASE...not just the symptoms.
